Overview

Long Beach is a waterfront city located on the perimeter Los Angeles County at the border of Orange County.  It is the third largest city in Southern California. Its Downtown area overlooks the beach and Port of Long Beach with stunning views of white sandy beaches and Catalina Island in the background.  Life in Long Beach is culturally vibrant and fast-paced with a diverse range of restaurants and entertainment. For those commuting to Downtown Los Angeles, Interstate 710 provides direct access. For many others, Downtown Long Beach and the Port of Long Beach are their final destinations for work.  Home to a variety of industries and large companies – fishing, longshore, shipping, cargo, Boeing, and Virgin Orbit – to name a few, Long Beach is a thriving hub for jobs and commerce.

In Downtown Long Beach, you can explore the arts through theater, music, and visual works, hop restaurants and breweries, or enjoy the sunset on the water.  On the weekends, many residents enjoy beach sports, such as sailing, water skiing, and kite sailing. Each year, the Grand Prix travels to the Long Beach Race Track for a weekend of excitement.

In 2028, Long Beach will host a number of sports for the Summer Olympics.  Due to this opportunity and its already thriving economy, new developments are currently underway, valued at over $3.5 billion.  Some of these developments will improve and expand infrastructure and services in Long Beach, which underscores the investment opportunity.  One of these infrastructural improvements will be to the light rail connecting Downtown Long Beach to Downtown Los Angeles.
